Mr. Tai, Director of Hong Kong Evangelical Yan Ho Church
When it comes to introducing ourselves, we usually ask, “Who am I?” I can say that I am a Christian who has believed in the Lord for over thirty years. I can say that I am a father and husband with a wife and two sons. I can be said to be the elder brother of a younger brother and a younger sister, with a mother. The above is my family composition. Christians are also part of my family, because “this is the church of the living God” (1 Timothy 3:15b), and the church is home.
When I want to introduce myself again, it can be said that I am a dream chaser. I have spent fifteen years pursuing one of my big dreams in life—being a preacher. This is a thankful thing. No matter how many years ordinary people pursue their dreams, they may not be able to realize their dreams. I only spent 15 years. This is indeed the grace of God. The result of the dream is to strive to make yourself more competent. After 16 years of training, I entered Yan Ho Church, hoping to make the best of what I have learned.
The last thing I want to introduce is the vision. I think the past few years have been the most chaotic era in the history of Hong Kong. I think building the next generation is beyond what everyone agrees with, and is to find a way out for everyone’s hearts. I personally believe that belief is the source of our calm and stability. By taking belief as the core and using other methods (such as psychology, etc.) as interpretation and interpretation, everyone can be more empowered to face change and stand in the storm. Coupled with our team walking with “you, you, you…” God will be with us and continue to protect us. I believe it is the most important core mission that I have made and arranged now.
Ms. Lui, Hong Kong Evangelical Yan Ho Church
I hope our next generation are able to grow in love, freedom and truth, thus maximising their inner stable potentials God endowed on them. They will be the young soldiers of the Lord, dedicated to spread the Word of God and His blessings to their peers and family, and even manifest God’s amazing work in His kingdom on earth.
My soul is deeply attracted to the love of God. I aspire to love what He loves in response to His initiative- “Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me:”. I have been pouring all my efforts into fulfilling Jesus Christ’s heart and helping children experience God’s unconditional love. I believe that God’s path is the only way that leads children to true freedom and a fruitful life.
Holding onto this vision and belief, I have been dedicated to serving children for years. I had been receiving training since 2000, successfully completed the bachelor’s degree in Ministry in 2004, while taking various courses in children and teenager education in order to become an instrument of God – “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6). May you and your family be filled with God’s blessings and love.
The first years of a child’s life are where their personality and values take shape. Parents play an important role in shaping who they are. The question is: what is the best way to raise children? There are many different types of parents, but all of them want what’s best for the children. To me, the best way to raise children is to bring them to Jesus. I look forward to walking the path to God with you, giving you strength in prayers and supporting you in becoming a great parent.
