Teacher Training

To support the “Science & Art Week” launched this year, we invited the Hong Kong Society for Children’s Education to organise a teacher development program titled “Incorporating art in children’s science education – creative school-based curriculum” for our teachers. The program, which was led by the Society’s Chief Executive Mr. Simon Yung and Ms. Teresa Jane OU, introduced to our teachers ways of creating art with different materials. Through engaging students in creating art of different themes and with different materials, as well as guiding them to explore the relationship between nature and science, we help promote students’ curiosity and exploratory mind, instill in them an interest of loving, creativity, innovation and ingenuity.
